The beaches of Renesse have been awarded several times. In 2018 the beach received the International Blue Flag environmental award for the 20th time. The beach is cleaned up in summer every day. The lifeguards keep an eye on everything and warns against dangerous wind and current.

Dogs on the beach
Dogs are also allowed on the beaches of Renesse During the period from the of1 May to the 1 October (between 10 am and 7 pm) dogs must be kept on a leash on the beach. Outside of the abovementioned period and times, dogs can also run around without a leash.

For windsurfing, kite surfing, kite flying, wave surfing you can also visit the beaches from Renesse. On the lake of Grevelingen or on the North Sea side there is enough space for you to preform your sport. Look at the dune transitions on the signs where ist allowd to preform your sport. You can also rent materials from various companies on the beach / brouwersdam.
